SAF Summer

Whether students are looking to get a jump on essential coursework, experience comprehensive language education or undertake prestigious research, the Foundation’s summer programs are designed to meet their academic needs and prepare them for success in a global economy.

  • Summer Academic – Students enroll in regularly offered summer courses and are assessed on the same basis as degree-seeking students. Undergraduate - and graduate-level study is possible for qualified students.

  • Summer Language – Students enroll in intensive second-language courses during the summer, often earning transfer credit from the home university.

  • Summer Academic Internship  –Students enroll in a credit-bearing internship program that combines formal academic study with career-related work placement for 6 to 10 weeks during the summer.
  • Summer Undergraduate Research   – Highly qualified undergraduates considering advanced degrees enroll in this program during a few weeks in the summer to work closely with faculty through supervised research at a prestigious Western research-focused university.
